In looking for help with my renovation project, I selected Aura. I saw great reviews and years of experience. One review said the quality of work is excellent and the interaction with the company was easy. Not so. Looking again I see a review that the services are sloppy, unprofessional, and cut rate. Sloppy, unprofessional, cut rate is exactly, what you receive.
Someone noted that Gabriel did an amazing job on their home renovation. Gabriel is the project manager on my job. He’s rarely on site. When asking for updates he must call the crew, who should be working. My day starts at 6:30 AM and during calls to him around 9 AM, he appears to be still in bed.
His limited crew is on site and often lack guidance to perform the task. The business office is not responsive unless they’re collecting payment for services. Inna ignores your emails and phone calls.
My job should be at least 75% complete by now. Yet recently, I had to pull the list of services and go over the timeline for completion with Gabriel. Yes I did add a couple minor things that shouldn’t of taken more than a day; maybe less as I was told there would be a group of six people working. Gabriel acted as if it took days off the progress of other tasks. First week there were two people, and for several days no one, by the end of week two, there were four workers. Yes I do make periodic check ins.
Gabriel selected to do the minor tasks early on such as installing hardware and lighting and waited near the end for the bathroom renovation. And to my dismay, he also had them paint the house prior to completing other important tasks.
Visits to my home, I see fingerprints on a newly painted wall, sloppy paint work on the cabinets. I’m waiting to schedule other needed services because I have no clue when Aura’s work will be completed. They stay they offer a full warranty; it’s needed based on the craftsmanship I see thus for.
Attached a few pictures, due to the disorganization in the place I don’t have more to share.
Do not use Aura.
