Intestate vs. Testate
When settling an estate a will may or may not be present to outline what the wishes and plans are for the estate at hand. Intestate is when a person passes without a Will, their estate and possessions will go through a Probate court-supervised process to handle the all distributions of assets. Testate is when there is a valid will in place that outlines the deceased's wishes for their assets and estate. At Auld Brothers Law we want to help you make this process as seamless and easy for you. Our team is familiar with Pennsylvania’s Probate laws and can answer your questions to help you make the best choices for your situation.
