In our "Reinsulation Process", a very imporant step is to remove all of the old insulation. This allows us to make sure that we're installing brand new, effective insulation that's going to deliver efficiency for your home.
There's a second imperative, though; the ability to see any and all cracks and crevasses in your attic through which heat might transfer.
Since heat transfer is the biggest factor in energy loss, it makes sense to thoroughly inspect every inch of your attic so we know every trouble spot we need to address as we install the new insulation.
