We are very lucky here at Attic Antiques to be based in the North East of Scotland. The area has such a rich history including maritime, military and agricultural events. Perhaps because of this, we've started to collect local items such as the one pictured. This is actually the inside lid of a seaman's chest which he painted with the ship he was on, the Heradura, constructed in Aberdeen. We don't only hoard these items but we also offer them to local museums, organisations and schools for education on our great local history. So if you have a local antique and want to see it stay in the area, get in touch.
