I booked with Charlii to get my hair done. I started with a all turquoise hair, regrowth roots. The mission was to go back to dark without loosing the turquoise completely. She did an amazing job and I left happier than I could imagine. My hair looks so shiny and healthy can't wait to be back for a retouch☺️

Had an appointment with Eli a couple of weeks ago and I’m very happy with both the process and the result. I felt listened to and received great advice about my hair. The result is beautiful — I love my new hairstyle! I’ve already recommended Eli to everyone I know 😊

I had such a great first experience at Flipped with Charli! She was super meticulous with my foils and haircut, loads of attention to detail but also really efficient. Very happy with the end result and the service was great value, so I’ll definitely be coming back!

On my second time to Flipped, I had to wait 15mins before being seen (totally fine), discussed how I wanted 2-3inches cut off the length. They took forever to dry my hair and It was only when the cut was almost over that I noticed that he only took about half an inch off the length! I had places to be so I couldn’t stay longer to get more cut off the length but then when I went to pay they said as my hair took longer to do (this was including the 15mins wait time) that they had to charge for a ‘restyle’ and I had to pay extra. Was very disappointed. I wouldn’t have minded paying the extra cost if I had actually got my hair cut the way I wanted but felt like they were taking advantage, charging extra for a re - style when they took longer to do my hair which was literally just a trim. I will not be returning.

Joseph listened carefully to what I wanted and went about it in a methodical way, he is very good at what he does, I got exactly the result I hoped for with my fine curly hair, we had an interesting chat too. The space is clean and approachable, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I can’t thank the team at Flipped Hair Brunswick enough! I had completely botched my 8-month-old’s first home haircut (uneven fringe and random tufts everywhere!) and came in feeling pretty sheepish. Joe squeezed us in and Cristina was so kind and gentle and worked absolute magic fixing it up, and made my little one’s hair look adorable again. To top it off, they wouldn’t even let me pay! Such a generous and lovely gesture. I’m so grateful — highly recommend Cristina and the whole Flipped team for their warmth, skill and kindness. 💛

I've been seeing Joseph at Flipped for a couple years now and have always been so happy after our appointments - Thursday was no exception. Joseph listens well and can create something incredible when I don't even fully know what I want to do with my hair. He gave me the best haircut I've ever had, I've received compliments all day and night. I couldn't be happier with my choice of hairdresser, and I'll always be able to trust him with my hair. Flipped hair was my first proper hairdresser experience and it's safe to say that I absolutely will not be going back and wouldn't recommend anyone else to go either. The pricing is absolutely ridiculous for the actual results and you end up feeling robbed and upset after your appointment. They don't really listen at all to what you want regardless of whether you say you want a certain thing and it really is disappointing and frustrating. Multiple friends of mine have come to flipped and have been ripped off and completely dissatisfied with the results. When you tell them you don't like the results they try and gaslight you into liking it. FLIPPED IS NOT GOOD DONT GO HERE As a response to Cristina's extremely rude reply, claiming my review is fake and nasty when in actuality I was sharing my raw experience at this salon with others, I appreciate your perspective, and I'd like to address a few points from your message. First, the phone conversation we had after my initial appointment, in which I mentioned my contentment, occurred right after the service. At that moment, I may have been more inclined to express satisfaction. However, as time went on, the more i looked at the results, the more i noticed an orange tinge in my hair which was not there prior to getting my hair dyed, this was due to the hairdresser I had using too warm of a tone on me that looked horrendous under any lighting. When expressing my concerns of this to the owner Cristina, she belittled my concerns by claiming that it was regrowth, however my natural hair colour has never had orange in it ever. The color also did not hold up well, leading to the email I sent later. Regarding the cancellation of my appointment, please understand that life can get busy, and circumstances change, I was also hesitant to go back because of how dreadful my experience was. The fact that I cancelled my appointment does not and should not diminish my valid concerns regarding the service. I understand your position as a small business and the importance of adhering to salon policies. However, from a customer's perspective, it's also essential for a salon to ensure that its clients are satisfied with the services they've received. It's disappointing to feel dissatisfied and then be met with resistance to rectify the situation. While I regret that our experience did not meet my expectations, I still believe that my feedback should be validated. I hope you will consider these points for the better of your services in the future. Shown below was the reference image given to the hairdresser, and the result.
