Atlas Imlil Trek

We stayed at Houssains family guesthouse and experienced fantastic hospitality and home cooked meals. We (mum and 3 boys aged 16, 14, 11) did 3 day berber villages trek. Housssin was a brilliant guide - kind, knowledgeable, totally authentic. We had delicious food provided and the boys loved having a go riding the mule. The walk was challenging enough, but very well paced with plenty of breaks. It was a truly memorable experience for all of us, and I would highly recommend.

Houssain was a wonderful guide who took us safely and at a comfortable pace up Talamrout. We enjoyed passing through villages before climbing above Tizi n'Tamatert (Tamatert Pass) to the summit. The last part required a bit of balance as we scrambled to the top, which was the most fun part of the hike! Houssain spread out a lovely picnic lunch for us back at the pass before taking us back to Imlil Valley. We enjoyed chatting throughout the journey - Houssain was a very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide. Very highly recommended!

Lovely day. Hussain organised a pick up in a comfortable car in Marrakesh. The 2 hour journey into the High Atlas was great; several stops to visit local craft businesses and beauty spots. Then Hussain's brother Mustafa took us on a 3 hour hike all the way up to 1900 metres: beautiful views and lovely waterfall. Then a home made lunch at Hussain's home before a sleepy ride back to Marrakesh! Stimulating and exhilarating day all round.

Fantastic experience in High Atlas Mountains. Hussein took such good care of us and guided us expertly through the valleys of Inlil over a 3 day trek. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience trekking with Mustapha. He was so kind and friendly and encouraging. The booking process was very easy and it included x2 lunch, 1x breakfast and 1x dinner. He also helped us organise appropriate gear to hike with for a very low cost. I would recommend to book with this company if you want an incredible experience up mount toubkal.

Had a fantastic one day hike from our Airbnb in Imlil, took us one a great new route through the forest and alongside a lot the peaks, answering all our questions and being super friendly along the way! Highly highly recommend!

I did a Toubkal "sunrise" trekking with Mustapha as a guide. I highly recommend his services: he is very friendly, helpful and tacktful but above all totally professional. He took care of everything and facilitated also other aspects of my stay in Imlil, not only trekking itself. Now I plan to do some other Atlas treks in autumn, and for sure I am going to do it together with Mustapha and his company.
