🔒Yes I must admit, even a locksmith has been known to jump into a pool with his wife’s vehicle key fob in his pocket. A few things to be noted here though are: 1️⃣ Immediately remove the key fob from the water being careful not to press any buttons. Take the key fob apart and remove the battery. Dry all of the parts off and use a hair dryer on warm/cool temperature to dry out the key fob. Some people say placing it in rice for several hours works as well. It worked for me this time. 2️⃣ Always take a spare key fob with you on vacation.
