Aswanley

Aswanley is a gorgeous wedding venue!! We were after a cute rustic vibe and that’s exactly what we got with lovely high wooden beams and fairy lights all around! We got married June 2025 and it couldn’t have gone any better! So much space inside and out having all the rooms needed without having to leave the venue!! Ceramony, food and dance floor all under one roof! Everyone was great at helping and nothing was to big or to small for them to help with!! Rachel was fantastic- she was our wedding coordinator- fast at responding to any questions I had over email and a great help on the day! We had a slight problem with our band and Rachel was straight in there offering to help to go drive to pick up speakers to help them out!! She really put my mind at ease knowing she was there to help!! The gardens are also beautiful!! So many great photo spots!! Would definitely recommend to anyone! We stayed in a cottage nearby which was also beautiful and handy able to fit hair and makeup in so close to the venue!! 💗

Our wedding here in October 25 couldn’t have been more perfect. The venue and its surroundings are gorgeous with plenty of spots for photos, and all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful to make it special for our big day. Rachael was always on hand in the lead up answering all our questions, and Lauren couldn’t have done more to keep the day running smoothly and taking the stress off of us. If you’re lucky, you might even see the northern lights! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

An amazing venue for our wedding in September. Beautiful views of the countryside and very peaceful, found all the staff very relaxed and helpful! Happy to accommodate any requests or ideas and they have great accommodation nearby! Would highly recommended getting married here!

What can i say just the most magical amazing day. If the venue wasn't perfect enough the staff were incredible., from the day we came in to view the venue to the very last minute when our taxi let us down and we got a lift to our accommodation, making sure we got home safe. As both a wedding photographer and an Aswanley bride, I can honestly say this venue is something really special. I’ve photographed a number of weddings here over the years, and every time I go back, I’m reminded why it’s one of my favourites. The barn is full of character and charm, perfect for couples looking for a relaxed, rustic vibe. The grounds are absolutely stunning too — there are so many lovely spots for photos whatever the season. Mature trees, the biggest hedge you've ever seen, fields, the river Deveron flowing by, a tree swing, cool doors and a beautiful garden to name a few. Claire and Rachel are a dream to work with. They’re so organised, kind, and genuinely care about making each wedding run smoothly. From both a supplier and bride's perspective, they make you feel so welcome and supported. I loved that we (my husband and I)/and my couples had/have the freedom to make the space our own — bringing in décor, catering and really putting our stamp on the day. The new Clatterin' Brigg house is incredible — one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve photographed for morning prep. It’s spacious, full of light, homely and so comfortable. A stunning addition to an already amazing venue! If you’re looking for a beautiful, barn type, exclusive use, flexible venue with a brilliant team behind it, I couldn’t recommend Aswanley more.

Aswanley is one of those places that just feels special the second you arrive! Tucked away in the countryside, it’s got the dreamiest barn, stunning gardens, and that perfect relaxed vibe that makes every wedding feel so personal. And the team? Just the best—so lovely, so on the ball, and always making sure everything runs like a dream. One of those venues that just gets it, and I’ll never tire of shooting here!

Booking Aswanley for our wedding was a great experience from the very start. We personally dealt with Rachael who was absolutely brilliant. The venue itself is beautiful and came with lots of little extras. Claire and Rachael were so quick to respond and so helpful with everything. Nothing was ever too much to ask.

Where do we start! We absolutely loved our venue and everything was flawless from start to finish. The setting is beautiful with post and rail fencing, ponds, the river, the beech hedge and the rolling hills in the background. The layout works perfectly and everything was super flexible. Rachael was brilliant, professional and always responded in a timely manner. Thank you for all your help in making our special day what it was. Even all our random requests were never an issue. We both can't thank Rachael and the team at Aswanley enough for the most amazing experience - Thank you! <3
