Astro Kings 5-a-side Football Centre, Nottingham

I have booked with Astro King my son's birthday and I called them couple of days before the party because the weather forecast was thunderstorm and rain. The staff said I will get back my deposit if there will be thunderstorms or rain on the day. Then on his birthday I called them again to let them know that we are not going because of the rain, thunderstorm. The staff said again that I will get back my money and she is going to let her manager know. Sadly, nothing happened. I will never book again there, not a trustworthy service.

We had a party here for my son’s 9th birthday, I could not praise the team enough. All we had to do was show up with the cake and everything else was in hand. The coach was fantastic with the boys, managing 10 excitable/competitive. He engaged them through out, the games he did were great and he made sure everyone was involved. When it came to dinner the table was set, pizza ready to go and drinks handed out. They did all the clearing up telling me to leave things and enjoy the party. The presentation was a lovely touch at the end too. We have had sports parties previously but would say this one was the least stressful and amazing value for money! We will be coming back, I’m sure. The only negative feedback would be lack of emails and communication w head to chat up to make sure with was booked and what we had to do on the day. A part from that awesome party. Thank you!!

We booked a pitch early in the morning our name was in the system, when I arrived there another team was already in there when I asked the staff inside who’s on there us or them they didn’t help told us to tell them to get off like that’s our job, then one of the staff members tall guy with glasses threatened to fight us because we told him sort it out, but we offered him he didn’t come past the till. Then the manger came and sorted it however he said we get extra time that was lost for the mess up but we didn’t get that another team came on Stright after so don’t go here rude staff not organised and they act like they don’t care because they are busy

A decent 5 a side location and a easy online booking system. Pitches are at a suitable standard with choice of 5s and 1 large pitch. Prices are a little steeper compared to some other venues but it trumps Powerleague. Also ample parking on site.

Not great, a booking of £35 was not honoured we were told to share. I explained that having paid for an hour for a pitch for a birthday that sharing wasn't acceptable or what I had reserved. The parking was non existent The area was run down with waste just discarded around the site. I would not recommend this facility.

A fantastic party for my 7 year old. He said he had the ‘best time’ and would like to come back next year for another party. Lovely staff. Thank you very much!

If you think you are getting half a pitch then think again… the way it works is if you pay as you play you have to ask people who are already on the pitches to see if you can join in a game however… most will say no and then you have to go the cabin and he will say he will have a word with them Which is not ideal as this just causes friction if you are to play with said players Unless booking a full pitch don’t expect to have half a pitch lesson learnt and will not be returning!!

Held my kids birthday at Astro Kings and they were fab! Would definitely recommend and will be booking it for next year!

We managed to get a pitch at short notice. It's a new venue with 4G pitches - got to say that the LED lighting is fantastic!! Will definitely be using again.

Better than Power League. Don't go anywhere else for 5 a side, great pitch and helpful staff, always willing to sort out spare players if needed too.
