I have never experienced unprofessionalism at this level at any message establishment in my life before. To start it wasn’t to my knowledge that this wasn’t an actual office, the communication about this was off. the same room that the massage is given in is the same dwelling as the entrance itself so when I walked in I accidentally walked in on someone’s session which was awkward not only for me but for the person receiving the massage. There are no signs that’s give warning to this so make SURE you have an appointment. Another thing is the lady I had talked about politics, China, and how selfish and bossy America is for the first 15 minutes of my 30 minute massage which made me very uncomfortable and I didn’t feel relaxed of appreciated as a customer. Another thing she did was was me “how many kids do you want? 8??” Now why would you say something like that? She then goes on to talk about Harris and at this point I truly believe she was displaying a racial bias toward me because of my biracial ethnicity. Further more she has no knowledge of my political views and to assume I have anything to do with the Harris campaign or to try to gaslight me into becoming upset when she has no idea who I even voted for is absolutely disgusting and I felt so disrespected. The last straw for me is when she was standing by my right side near my head and ripped a big one…yes that’s right..this lady forcefully ripped a huge fart and then told me she ate too much vegetables. I am DISGUSTED! I don’t know WHERE she is from or what she thinks is okay but here in Tennessee I have lived here all my life and as a person of COLOR I have never been treated with such disrespect. Never. Not even by white people. I have never experienced such hateful acts. After the massage she kept saying I was pretty and I was on my way but it dwelled on me for the remainder of the day. I gave you all my business and I paid you all for a service and this is how you think Americans run their businesses and treat each other here in good ole Tennessee? This is pathetic. Your racist response of a lengthy criminal record is all I needed to see to file a formal complaint. I can’t wait for you to get sued. Merry Christmas

Therapist did not know what she was doing. Movements were quick compressions and when using her forearms to glide up my erector spinea muscles she would hit me in the back of the head. She elbowed me in the spine a few times, it honestly felt more abusive than relaxing... I am a massage therapy educator. Competition? lol Funny how this post is 4 years old and you are still commenting on it... Hopefully that shows how bad of a therapist you are... I have been to other therapist in the area who are much better. They dont climb up on the table and sit on you while giving a massage. Be happy I didnt turn you in to the board. Edit to owner-(6.16.25) I have better things to do than slander horrible therapists. You should have ur license revoked!

No real massage skills, no rhyme or reason to her techniques. I've been enjoying the benefits of massage for 40 years and cannot recommend. FYI...the location is OK and the space is a single office with a screen divider. In response to the business owner...I am not a massage therapist or competition. But I know a solid massage, and it is not what you provide. Response again to the owner on 7-7-2023: Seems I am not the only person to find your massage skills to be lacking. Not slander when I state facts, and there is no attack on anyone except by you. My review stands!

Back was hurting and stressed from work. They were able to fit me in on a Sunday. Great prices and kind staff. Really worked out the kinks in my shoulders. The hot stones were awesome too. Little out of the way place but it's nice and quiet. Overall great and will come back.

This is absolutely my worst experience massage. Sorry if it sounds bad, but I felt worse. I went there to feel relaxed. But I left feeling worse than when I came.

I've never met someone so incompetent in their respective skill set. It is unfathomable that this woman is allowed to operate a " massage establishment." After getting hundreds of massages over the years, this one was the absolute worse. She had absolutely no idea of what she was doing. There was no manipulation of any muscles. She just haphazardly slapped cold lotion on my skin and moved up in down. It seemed to me she had no training whatsoever. It was a horrible, horrible experience. This is the first time ever I got up in the middle of the massage and walked out. Yes, it was that bad! If you ever find yourself in Smyrna, TN, do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place at all cost! To whomever runs this place, you're doing yourself and your clients a huge disservice by offering such a pathetic experience. Do yourself a favor and go back to massage school. You have no business putting your hands on anyone at this point. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Board of Massage Therapy also.

Went in for my very first massage as I've been working overtime for the past 4+ months. Back was feeling strained so I thought why nor try it out. When I left I was feeling no more back issues. Will definitely go back when the need arrives.

I hate to give anyone a bad review if at all possible but this was unbelievably bad. I know a child could have done a better job. It was an inexpensive massage and I needed to relax so I thought I’d try it. Was not worth a t and she even told me if I’d come again she’s only charge me $30 and no tip. She is in no way a massage therapist.

Very sweet and respectful. Great message, she hit areas I needed to be worked out. Great relaxing music in background, well organized, great cleanliness. On point responsiveness of scheduling! Got me in on Sunday evening all followed through. Great technique in message therapy areas. I will be back! Recommended!

I have been at Asia Massage twice, and was treated very professionally. The massage was skillful, using the downward pressure technique of East Asian Massage. I was pleased with the massage and the muscle relaxation resulting--I drive ten hours to Smyrna to visit relatives, and my muscles are tight after the long drive. My back and neck and calves are aching, and the massage here takes the pain and discomfort away. I could not be happier and highly recommend Asia Massage.
