John did an excellent job running new wire, installing three junction boxes, and hanging pendant lights in my kitchen. He provided a free quote and was prompt with next day service. I can’t recommend John the electrician enough! I called him on a Sunday to schedule an estimate, and he told me he was only 10 minutes away and could swing by after finishing his current job. That level of responsiveness alone was impressive. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done and why. I really appreciated how he made everything easy to understand. He provided an estimate on the spot and was able to get me scheduled for Tuesday. You cannot get a better electrician than john. I’ve been using him for the last eight years or so and every time the job was perfect.

The circuit breaker for our residential water well tripped on a Sunday afternoon and could not be reset. I called the Ashton Electric 24/x7 number at 2:30pm, and received a callback in 10 minutes. A team arrived at 5:30pm, diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes (a bad breaker), and had our well back online by 6pm. They were transparent about the service charge when we talked on the phone, and the final charges were fair and reasonable for service provided. This is not the first time I have used Ashton Electric, and I plan to use them again for my future electrical needs.

Ashton Electric gets a 10 rating in my book. I needed immediate replacement of an electrical panel and this company was extraordinary in its response. In less than 2 days they completed replacing the panel and sending photos to the absentee owner and me of all electrical devices working once again. The price was excellent as well. I connected with John through Thumbtack and so glad I did. My mother needed to get a new water heater and the original wiring was a mess. He was able to come out the next day, and completed the rewire along with installing a new switch box prior to the arrival of the plumber. His rates are very reasonable and should be the first person to call for any electrical work!
