Ashley Store + Outlet

This has been one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had, and the dishonesty at the Ashley Store in Cheyenne needs to be exposed. We spent about seven thousand dollars and were promised a two-week delivery. That was the only reason we agreed to purchase. The second they got our money, everything changed. Suddenly no one could give us any date at all. We were told, “maybe three weeks,” “possibly four,” “sometimes six,” and “we really don’t know.” If they had said that upfront, we never would have bought anything. Then the merchandise started arriving. The floor-model electric bases: • One arrived ripped • One arrived not working • Two barstools arrived missing parts This is after being told they had been inspected. The sheets situation was flat-out bait and switch. We were promised 1000-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. What they actually delivered was one real Egyptian cotton set and two cheap microfiber sets you can buy on Amazon for twenty bucks. I posted pictures. It is insulting that they tried to pass these off as the same thing. The sales process was just as bad. It took six hours of back-and-forth because everything had to be run through a manager who kept feeding the salesperson false information. It felt like a used car dealership, not a furniture store. Meanwhile, Living Spaces in Colorado put Ashley to shame. • No commission pressure • Every salesperson has a tablet and can handle everything instantly • Exact delivery dates • $500 gift card if they miss the window • No selling items that are out of stock • Took one hour, not six • Kids area, drinks, and actual customer service $2 wine and beer • And they are honest about everything And the biggest difference: Living Spaces actually pays their employees a living wage, instead of incentivizing them to say anything they need to in order to close a sale. I prefer buying local, but Ashley in Cheyenne made that impossible. The dishonesty, the bait and switch, the damaged items, and the refusal to give straight answers left us with a brand new house and no furniture for Christmas. We cancelled almost the entire order and finished everything with Living Spaces because at least they operate with integrity. Ashley corporate needs to take a hard look at this location. This store is the definition of misleading sales tactics and terrible customer experience.

We had such great experience with Ashley furniture delivery experts Donald and Cody. They were extremely professional and careful in our brand new home setting up the furniture exactly how we asked it to be and made sure there was no mess and that we were happy! Outstanding customer service and care.

Excellent experience from start to finish in purchasing my new dining set. I was always kept in the loop with the texting service. Kenny and Cody did a great job on delivery day. Prompt and quickly finished setting up the table. They were very professional and courteous. Thank you!

Delivery was right on time, and Detrick and Anthony were great! They were fast, efficient, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Both were nice young men, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I’m also delighted with the table and chairs. They look even better in the kitchen/dining room than we had hoped.

Cody and Detrick are incredible! They went above and beyond for us!! This was by far the best delivery experience I’ve ever had with Ashley. Both are super friendly and professional making sure we were completely happy with everything before they left. They even made a second trip to our place after finding out the sheets were at the store and not delivered to our address. They were happy to come back to make sure we could get the new bed made for our little one. Recommend these two 100/10!!!

My salesperson Luna went above and beyond helping me get mt great sectional! Even when I became anxious about my delivery Luna and everyone I spoke with was very helpful, kind and professional. I have no problem giving everyone 5 stars. When my sectional was delivered, I received the same amazing service from Anthony and Kenny. I definitely was given the white glove service. These two did everything I expected while be professional and friendly. More than deserving of a 5 star rating! I thank all of you for making this a great experience.

Fantastic experience from assistance thru sales process to exceptional white glove delivery experience. I’m not local so Anna was tremendous help while browsing online all the way thru coordinating delivery. Cost and Derrick were professional and sensitive to not causing damage to walls etc while bringing furniture in. I haven’t experienced this Level of CS in a long time.

I had a great experience with Donald and Detrick delivering and setting up my bedroom furniture. They were very nice, incredibly efficient and thorough with the furniture setup. There is a reason I drive to Cheyenne to buy my furniture, Ashley Furniture has great people who work there and also sells beautiful, solid furniture. Donald and Cody delivered my new dining room set this morning and were both fantastic. They were both very polite and personable. They were quick while still making sure to take care of the new furniture and my house. 10/10 service!
