Great Michigan made ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful, they let me know the two most popular flavors are oreo and Michigan pothole. There is a new unique flavor that is made with blueberries. I had a sample but was not a fan as it was to sweet and fruity. In my opinion you can never go wrong with Michigan pothole.

A wonderfully tasty place! I was passing by and was craving some ice cream. I originally was going to get a 1-scoop sundae but had to make it 2-scoop because of all the interesting flavors. Sundae comes with ice cream (1-3 scope), whipped cream, peanuts, cherries, and your choice of one topping. Kids (okay, teenagers) working at the shop were also great. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in the area next time!

Stopped by Ashby’s twice during my family’s short stay in Michigan! The first time my husband and I got their strawberry cheesecake ice cream in a cup. Very creamy and delicious! One scoop was enough for us both. The second time my husband and I got their Reese’s parfait which was highly recommended by my brother in laws cousin. It was his go-to at Ashby’s so we told him we wanted to try it as well. Let me say, it has ALOT of peanut butter. We were tasting it for days after! Honestly it was very good but just had a bit much peanut butter, I’d probably order the parfait with maybe some hot fudge swirled in next time to offset the strong peanut flavor. Service is pretty good! The first time we visited it was only us there so the wait wasn’t too long. But the second time was on the weekend and at night so everyone and their mama was there! The line was quite long and the wait was even longer. I could tell other customers were getting frustrated. But we didn’t mind it. We just sat down at the tables they had inside and waited for our order to be ready. Just know there could be a long wait if you go on peak times and days! Other than that I definitely recommend Ashby’s for some delicious ice cream!

My ice cream flavor was one of the best I had, but I can't remember it right now! Lol! All I remember is brownie pieces, lol or chocolate chunks. Very nice and efficient employees.

So many chain ice cream places in and around GP. This is the best! Great place for treats and community! It's also under ownership of a great group of folks with a long history at the spot. Great service. It's the only place for ice cream!!❤️🤸‍♀️💨

Ashby’s Ice Cream is fantastic! The ice cream is smooth, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. I loved the Michigan Pot Hole—so good! The staff of welcoming, and the atmosphere is great. Definitely a must-visit.

The service is decent for young people. Sometimes they aren't the most helpful. At times, they have wonderful service and get through the customers in the line quickly. Other times, it takes a long time and the shakes are not made well. Then, a couple times, the ice cream doesn't seem fresh.
