Curious if you need your chimney checked? If you are able to check-off any of the following items, it is time to call Ash Busters Chimney Sweep LLC!
1. If you observe smoke entering your home from your wood fire
2. If you smell smoke
3. If you smell fumes from your water heater, furnace or boiler
4. If you notice a brick or stone chimney deteriorating or exhibiting staining
5. If you see loose mortar in your chimney
6. If you see rust or corrosion on your metal chimney
7. If you see cracking or loose mortar in your fireplace
8. If you experience a chimney fire (after the fire department leaves)
9. If there are conditions that could have damaged the chimney, such as earthquakes or the chimney being struck by debris such as falling limbs
10. When there is a property transaction
11. If you see any charring or drying on surrounding combustibles, immediately discontinue use
12. If something just doesn’t look “right”
