Yuri from AZ Appliance Repair came to help us with our front load washer, specifically with regard to cleaning out the filter which we were concerned might be full of dog hair. We also had questions about how to best maintain the machine, especially since the Whirpool manual provides little guidance. Yuri was extremely polite and explained how to clean and maintain the filter as well as the door gasket. He took the panels off the washer and gave it a thorough going over to ensure it was in its best working order, and also cleaned the soap dispenser unit and the gasket at the door. He was a delight, forthcoming and extremely well versed in the technical side our washer, telling us issues to be on the lookout for and showing us exactly how to maintain and use the washer. He was patient and gave us a level of service we had not expected. He put it all back together and cleaned the work area, before writing up the cost. First time visit for me from Arizona Appliance Repair. Service Tech (Mike) arrived 10 minutes early, called in advance to say he was on his way, and was a great communicator. He also is a great service tech, diagnosing the problem quickly, checking for any other possible issues (18-year old LG machine), explained everything as he went along, from what caused the problem to how to avoid other problems with my particular machine. He replaced a valve and said one other one was a little weak, but was still functioning okay, and based on how often I use the machine, he said it could wait a while, but wrote down the part # for it and an estimate on the repair for if and when I need it. I considered the charges for today more than fair, and the charges were actually much less than I anticipated. Great experience all around.
