Arabian Holiday Resort Calvary Mount Idukki

We booked the property for one night for a group of 15 people. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. There were no toiletries provided in the rooms. Drinking water was also not readily available; when we requested water, we were given only a 500 ml bottle, which is clearly insufficient for guests staying overnight. We had booked the entire property, including access to the pool. The downstairs rooms were comparatively better than the upstairs rooms. However, there was no proper water supply from the taps, and hot water was also unavailable. Due to heavy rain, we could not use the pool earlier in the evening. After the rain stopped around 10:30 PM, we requested that the pool lights be switched on and that we be allowed access to the pool. After repeated requests, access was finally granted, but only for about 45 minutes. Since we had booked the entire property, including the pool, we expected better access to the facilities. The upstairs rooms felt more like a homestay, with plywood partitions, rather than a resort. We had booked the property expecting a resort experience. I would suggest reconsidering the property’s description, as the current name may create expectations that do not match the actual accommodation. Additionally, breakfast was not complimentary. As most resorts generally provide complimentary breakfast, this was disappointing. Overall, I would recommend that the management improve the basic facilities and guest amenities to provide a better experience for future guests. We paid all the charges without any issues, including the bill for the extra food we ordered. We were also informed at the time of booking that our group would be the only guests on the property and that the entire property had been reserved exclusively for us. The staff members at the property were courteous, helpful, and provided good service throughout our stay. We genuinely appreciate their efforts and hospitality. In fact, we were pleased with their service and even gave them a tip as a token of our appreciation. However, the person who handled and responded to our messages before and after our stay was quite unprofessional and rude in their communication. This was especially disappointing because our concerns and feedback were shared politely and respectfully. While the on-site staff created a positive impression, the manner in which our feedback was addressed by the management representative significantly affected our overall experience.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The property offered a serene atmosphere with a beautiful view that we thoroughly enjoyed. My child especially loved the pool, which was well maintained and very enjoyable. The nearby attractions were excellent and easily accessible. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience, and I would gladly recommend this place to others.

Starting with the pros: They were very adaptable as my gang was noisy and nobody interrupted us. We had our time. The cons: Expected better based on the images attached. The rooms looked like dormitories with just partitions and nothing special about the views. The pool was small. They didn't provide enough blankets for each person and those provided were torn and in bad conditions. What was worse was the condition of the pool's bathroom. Overall, can improve a lot.

It was a good stay, there is good privacy and a private pool.

It was an amazing stay at Arabian Holiday Resorts. The honeymoon cottage is superb, and our kids enjoyed it a lot. The swimming pool and facilities were fantastic and well-maintained. The food provided at the resort had a homely touch and was delicious. We stayed at the resort for two days, and our kids had a wonderful time. All the tourist destinations in Idukki are easily accessible from Arabian Resorts. A very hygienic, neat, and clean , perfect for small groups and families. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place to stay with ur family. Best part is the food, it's home cooked. Staff is also very helpful. Arun was very kind and he showed me places near buy. They do arrange site seeing. My stay at Arabian Holiday Resort was memorable and would love to visit very soon.

A very good family and kids friendly property near Calvary mount . View point is not very far from the property. Calm and quiet place .Staff are very friendly and promptly respond to all your needs. We were a group of 12 adults and 8 kids and all enjoyed a lot. They have pool which is neatly maintained. They arranged bar b que and camp fire for us . All together very nice experience.
