This outing was prompted by my crafty friends! They said..Let’s make a Chunky Blanket…me …huh? But Ok! They are DIY Queens..so I was happy to participate in this activity with them and hopefully learn a few things! They knew how to get me because it was held onsite @ Von C Brewery in Norristown! I was able to enjoy one of my fav things (craft beer) 🍺 and learn how to make a blanket! The organizers were so friendly and super helpful! You definitely need the 3 hours to work on the blanket! Upon completion..I see my crafty friends knew the assignment…their blankets looked amazing…for me …let’s call it a fun outing and mine is more of a shawl ..lots of holes in it (check out the pics..lol) I would definitely do it again..now that I have learned the skill set…I think my next blanket will be outstanding! Check out AR Workshop…great experience !

It was a fun evening out, not to mention coming home with a beautiful, customized, self-made project to proudly display. I've done a number of craft projects at home and this process was so much easier than having to buy, prep, then clean up everything yourself at home. The options are limitless and the staff was so friendly and helpful, keeping a watchful eye over things and helping you avoid the pitfalls of beginner mistakes.
