What NOT to Put in Your Garbage Disposal (Unless You Want Drama) Your garbage disposal is tough… but it’s not that tough.
Keep these out unless you want trouble:
-Grease & oils — your pipes will hold a grudge
- Coffee grounds — great for your morning, terrible for your drain
- Eggshells — nope, not even “just this once”
- Bones — your disposal is not a T-Rex
- Celery & onion skins — it’s a sink, not a lawn mower
- Pasta & rice — they expand like they’re trying to take over your kitchen
