Awesome experience!! Communication prior to the project day was exceptional. Team showed up on early the day to mill our logs. We had 7x 10 foot logs filled in a single day. Equipment was brand new and Andy was a complete workhorse. He was accommodating to the various dimensional sizes and was very knowledgeable with milling + wood types. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a mobile saw mill (or other lumber services).

WOW what a great experience. Andy is a master craftsman at sawmilling I can’t believe all the different types of lumber I got, and he was very helpful on just looking at the log and telling you what size pieces would be best to make out of it. A really great day and now I have lots of lumber to build.

Family run business, and they make you feel like family while they are working. They came on time, made a plan, and milled like they where being paid by the cut. Best money I have spent on any service ever. They brought a lot of value to me and this job. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have a small guitar building shop and working solo. It would have taken me a week to mill the amount logs they did in a few hours. As well they didn't mill the logs that had aged beyond salvage. (It happens)

Andy and his father are extremely easy to work with. Their knowledge and skill are top notch! They spent a lot of time with me explaining the process and helping us choose the right slabs for our countertop. I highly recommend them.

Extremely happy with the kiln dried black walnut for this project. It was delivered right on time with excellent service. Andy and Alex were very professional and informative. High quality slabs and square stock.

Andy and Alex were a pleasure to work with, arrived promptly and worked hard all day, two days in a row to get through the pile of dozens of logs from 3 ash and 2 oak trees that I had taken down. I now have stacks of 5/4 and thicker slabs that will be ready for hardwood flooring and furniture soon. Great job guys! -Travis

We had Appalachian Woodworks on site to mill some of the ash recently taken down on our property. Andy and Alex did a great job. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and safe (something very important to me). I enjoyed sharing the work and the conversation, and would recommend them without hesitation. I will use them again. I was very satisfied and would use this company again. Andy and Alex worked efficiently to process the black walnut I had taken down on my property. They arrived on time, explained the process and worked all day to process everything I had for them. Unfortunately one of my logs had a bunch of metal in it but they were able to come up with a plan to use everything as efficiently as possible without burning through blades. I was very impressed with the end result and will use them again when I have more lumber to process on my property.
