Gus and crew to the rescue! The 700-foot-long, 50-year-old galvanized steel water supply pipe from our water main burst. The main is about 1/10 mile downhill from the house. Rather than tear up our drive we decided to trench the new PVC pipe through a wildland slope up the hill to the house. They accomplished the beastly task in less than a week, and for a reasonable fee. Highest recommendation for skill, value, and can-do attitude.

My water heater suddenly stopped working and started leaking water, and I found myself scrambling not only to do damage control in the garage, but also find someone reputable on short notice to replace my old unit. After putting up my request for quotes and availability on Yelp, Gustavo from Apex Plumbing reached out right away, and he immediately provided a ballpark quote, explained methods of payment, and that he could install a new water heater the same day. I received several other replies offering to come out and give an estimate, or sone saying they would call soon but never did. Gustavo took the time to message back and forth to answer a few questions that I had, and I was impressed with his professionalism, communication, transparency, and how genuinely he wanted to help. He promptly submitted the estimate via email; I signed it and paid the deposit to secure the work to be done. He informed me that he had one other job before mine, but he would be able to get to my installation in the afternoon. The previous job took a little longer than it first appeared and he apologized for running a little behind but that the install would get done no matter what. He had already even picked up the water heater I wanted, so he already had things prepped and ready for my job. Communication was excellent and I felt very at ease. When he arrived, we went over everything and he got right to work- Gus was very thorough and skilled; he is personable and wants his customers to be well informed, so he provided ample education about plumbing and care of the water heater- he even taught me how to flush the water heater to provide annual maintenance. Altogether, my installation took a couple of hours, Gustavo did clean and precise work, he hauled off the old unit, and Apex provides a 1 year warranty on their workmanship. I found Apex and Gus to be wonderfully professional, trustworthy, and fair. If you need a plumber, make Apex your go-to; they’re definitely mine. You’ll be in great hands.
