I highly recommend a visit to Apex Piano Showroom if you're looking for a good quality used piano. I had been shopping for a used piano for a while, but only at Apex did I find a collection of used pianos that (to my ear) sounded as good as a new piano. I fell in love with a particular piano in their showroom, and it was delivered today. I spent most of the afternoon playing it, and I can't wait to return to its ivory keys tomorrow. I am a happy, happy customer. Of course, Apex also sells new pianos, but for those of you who are in the market for a used piano, the folks at Apex are true piano experts who know what needs to be fixed or replaced or refinished when it comes to used pianos; and they back their work with a five-year warranty. That's how you know they're serious about the work they've done to perfect the quality of their used pianos. I am IN LOVE with my "new old" piano!

In a word: excellent. Steve, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. Patient and knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed when trying out a number of pianos. I ended up buying a Yamaha B-3, and I'm delighted with the piano. Delivery was exactly as scheduled, and the delivery guys took great care. From walking into the showroom to delivery of the piano, the whole experience was first class.

I been recording sn album with Steve Gross and his team at Apex. The level of attention every song is getting is over the top. Not only is the equipment is gold standard, the level of production is elite as every phrase and note is evaluated. It has been an incredible journey that has made my band sound better than ever. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Steve found a very unique vintage piano in amazingly great condition. We expressed interest even before the team had begun to work on it and Steve kept us fully informed as they prepared it for us. The team partially disassembled, cleaned, inspected, tuned, voiced and did countless other processes to get the instrument ready for our family to enjoy. It looks, sounds and plays just beautifully. They delivered the piano safely to our home where it is played every day. Thanks Steve and Apex Team for a great experience and a very unique and beautiful instrument!

I had a wonderful experience with Josh and his team at Apex Piano for the purchase of my acoustic piano. All of my questions were answered and they are so knowledgeable about the Yamaha product - a wealth of information. I also exchanged emails with Josh to ask even more questions and I never felt any kind of sales pressure whatsoever. I felt they really wanted me to have the best experience and they understood that selecting a piano takes much time and consideration. The delivery team was absolutely top notch. So professional - very experienced with installing pianos and so very careful. I felt like they treated my piano as if they were installing it in their own home.

We started looking for a piano for my 13 year old son who has been taking lessons for 3 years. We wanted to upgrade from the keyboard that we had. Our living room is small so we needed something that would work for us. Apex Piano Showroom was amazing to work with. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and provided great customer service. If there were 10 stars it wouldn’t be enough. Steve and his crew Tony, Bryson and Jesse are outstanding. From the moment we entered the showroom we knew we were with a knowledgeable and caring Yamaha dealer but what Steve excels at is a deep understanding of his customer. We were looking for an electronic keyboard to replace a couple old ones. Steve introduced us to the N1X and that was a “ done deal” . Steve mentioned how wonderful the S7X is and the rest is history. The S7X is in a class by itself. Being able to bring the expertise of a knowledgeable dealer together with the gift of the right piano artist is a gift . Steve possesses that ability . Thank you 🙏

The past few months have been a whirlwind for our trio, the Alma Ensemble. We found the perfect-for-us Yamaha at Apex Piano Showroom and decided that we wanted to find a way to make the piano ours. Steve at Apex stood by our sides the whole way, not putting pressure on us, giving us suggestions on how to proceed, and answering our many questions. When all was said and done and it came time to deliver the piano, they did so with such efficiency and skill. As a professional pianist who's had my piano moved across the country many times, I can tell you that this was the most comfortable situation I've ever witnessed. The whole process was a breeze! I can't recommend Steve and the fine folks at Apex Piano Showroom enough!

It was a good experience from the start - visiting Apex Showroom and taking time to select a piano, plus delivery of the piano and removal of my older piano. Everyone was very helpful in answering questions from Steve to the men delivering the piano. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

I am BEYOND THRILLED with my new Yahama S3X grand piano from Apex Pianos. I had no idea what was behind the doors of the showroom, but was so pleased to find that such a place exists in Roanoke. I was able to trial multiple models and sizes of grand pianos. Steve, the owner, was so knowledgeable about every facet of the history and production of not only Yamaha pianos, but many others in the industry. He was able to guide me to the absolute perfect piano for my skill level, home size, and budget. He wasn’t pushy at all and gave me plenty of time to play on the pianos. I believe I was there for over 4 hours the first time I visited. Steve, David, Paul, Tony and Bryson make such a great team. They provide absolutely wonderful customer service from the first inquiry to the final delivery and beyond. I feel like I’m part of their family now. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I’ve had my piano for about a week now and have been playing nonstop. If you’re out walking your dog and hear the melody coming through the windows, I hope it brings you joy!
