I had a wonderful experience at Annandale Smiles Dentistry. The entire office is welcoming and professional, but I especially want to recognize Diem, the hygienist, for doing an excellent job. She was very thorough with my teeth cleaning and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. Diem has such a positive, respectful, and caring attitude, which really makes a difference. She took the time to explain everything and treated me with kindness and patience. I truly appreciate her great work and highly recommend Annandale Smiles Dentistry to anyone looking for quality dental care.

The front desk person is abhorrent with her attitude, in-person and on the phone. She does not possess high-level customer service skills and etiquette, and the partners of this practice ought to investigate that. Also, the "doctor" that came in after the hygienist, was completely useless. The hygienist educated me more about the different factors then the dentist did. The dentist came in, looked at the computer, clicked around for 15 seconds, said "just keep doing what you're doing" and was trying to rush out. The young dentist needs to do their job, and provide a proper and thoughtful consult. There were clearly concerning issues and there was ZERO consult on any of the issues. Zero, none. What do you mean "keep doing what you're doing?" It was actually a pathetic and lazy approach. What was the point of him even coming in to see me. It is your duty to go over the concerns, explain to me the potential reasons why the issues have developed in the first place, explain to me the options on remediation or further prevention. I would never come back to this place or recommend it to anyone.

I went in for my yearly cleaning at Annandale Smiles, and I am beyond grateful for Dr. Steven Johnson. During my appointment, he noticed that my thyroid looked enlarged and recommended I get it checked something that seemed so small in the moment turned out to be life-changing. After following his advice, I found out I had thyroid cancer. Today, I am cancer-free, and I’m incredibly thankful. If it weren’t for Dr. Steven Johnson’s attention to detail and how much he truly cares for his patients, I never would’ve known something was wrong. His thoroughness made all the difference. I really appreciate Dr. Johnson and the entire Annandale Smiles team. Their care, professionalism, and genuine concern have earned my trust, and I’m grateful for everything they did for me.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would mark it, went in March for a veneer segmentation, stuff were pass of kind, to get me to make the procedure with them, when I came in the dentist room or person who made the procedure, he did not even say a word, it was uncomfortable because it’s a part of my body he was treating, for protocol who should have explain what he was gonna do. Anyways, it got fixed (I’m not sensitive if people want to talk to me, I just mind about the job being done) and 8 month after, veneer came off when I was doing my make up, I just passed the tongue, called them and no guarantee when the other ones (it’s not the unique veneer that I have, have last over 4 years) what can I think? Cheap material, low quality adhesive or procedure wasn’t performed correctly. They lost a potential loyal client, I’m just doing the procedure with another Doctor and won’t step again in their offices. I can’t be going regularly to pay the same exact procedure on the same tooth because it wasn’t performed correctly.

Being new to this dental practice, I can share this is a practice that cares about you and your experience here. Hai is a fanatic hygienist, gentle yet thorough. At the front desk you will want to work with Susan, she is good at explaining your insurance and following up with them. If something is not right she will address it. If you are thinking about teeth whitening Cecilia is your person. Very patient and monitors you closely so you are as comfortable as possible. Left a bad dental practice for many reasons before finding Annandale Smiles. It is a great to have a good dental practice in the neighborhood.

I had an incredible experience at Annandale Smiles today! From start to finish, the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. Susan at the front desk was so friendly, informative, and accommodating—she went out of her way to schedule my children on different dates and times to work around their activities, which I truly appreciated. I usually get nervous at the dentist, but Christina made me feel so comfortable. She was patient, checked in with me often, and reassured me throughout my visit. That level of care meant so much. Dr. Justin was fantastic—he took the time to educate me on the steps I need to take, addressed areas I wasn’t comfortable with, and guided me toward a solution I’m truly happy with. At the end of my visit, Cecilia kindly took me back when I decided to start Invisalign, answered all my questions, and Dr. Justin even came back to finalize and confirm everything with me. Overall, the entire staff was professional, caring, and thorough. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

The past few months I’ve underwent complete mouth reconstruction with all crowns. They’ve been so diligent and wonderful in all aspects of care and aftercare, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Doctor Do has been the one doing my surgery and implants and James has help create all the ceramics for my crowns making sure the color/shape/fit are perfect! It’s amazing to be able to smile big again and have my dental health intact. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s in need of anything, from cleaning to major work like I’ve had done! It’s great feeling to have big,clean, shining bright smile to start everyday!! The front staff is also extremely sweet and caring! You won’t feel alone or out of place and disheartened as I know dental work can be overwhelming for myself or anyone honestly. 10/5 stars for sure!

I will be forever grateful for the professional care and expertise of Dr. Steven Johnson for detecting early stage cancer in my friend. Through his guidance and recommendation she was able to detect, treat, and fully cure the cancer before any permanent damage or threat was caused.

Dr. Michael was outstanding! We did a cosmetic bonding for a quick fix-up before crowing down the road. I am terrified of dentists and he has truly made every visit stress free. He is gifted with injecting, I hardly ever feel a pinch. Huge shout out to the front desk team that always helps with my millions of questions in a kind and patient matter!

This was a BRAND NEW experience. First--I was early. That was due to placement and parking availability. Stand alone location. Well staffed. First, they took me on a full facility tour. Have you had that before? Me either! Second, the hygienist walked me through everything and handled all the prep work including X-rays and scans and intake. Third, the doctor talked me through her care plan. Fourth, the cleaning was thorough and QUICK!! Wintay was so professional!! Fifth, did I mention the welcome bag? Sixth, it's clean, they're accredited, they're highly rated by their peers and highly respected by the community as shown by the wall of awards. Seventh, They have an accessible entrance and additional parking in back--but the front stairs were so stunning.
