Rita is such a pro! She truly understands the texture of my hair and has given me great cuts that look gorgeous from day one and grow out even better! The studio space is relaxing and design forward with an amazing art book collection. Can't recommend her and Andrea enough!

Beyond the inviting environment one of the other gems at Andrea Lord Studio is Rita. She possesses that unmistakeable New Yorker energy. A real one. She’s lived through the city’s many changes time and time again. I like to do the same with my hair throughout the year. From edgier summer fades to an adjusted hair length for the holidays, Rita always listens and executes. She gives insightful suggestions when needed to prep in between each cut. The most memorable haircut being for my wedding last summer which had me feeling special and most of all confident. Appointments with Rita have shifted from a routine necessity to something I look forward to. Catching up with a friend more than just a service transaction. If you’re searching for a barber who combines skills with a memorable personality I can’t recommend Rita enough.
