Amazing Blades Landscaping

I have been using this company for years, never once did my grass look good. I would send them pictures and I always got the response "that will be treated on our next visit" or more frequently "that's a weed that's not included in your package but you can upgrade to include those". Not sure what weeds this company actually treats because I had a lot the entire time I used them. Got a new company and within two month my yard looks perfect. I am actually getting complements now asking what I have done different. I tell everyone "I got rid of Amazing Blades".

We use Amazing Blades for monthly weed/fertilization and mowing. They have done a great job. Having recently moved to Myrtle Beach we also had them install irrigation, landscape lighting and replace our pine straw beds with marble chip. The crew out the last couple days; Keith, Brian, Darrell, Zack, Hunter and Will were clearly where the “Amazing” part of the name comes from. Awesome company and highly recommended.

The name fits them (Amazing). Will and Zach were extremely professional. They came in and trimmed everything back and removed all trees that were discussed. They also replanted some existing palms to a new location. Today they finished up with some mulch and Carolina river rock. Looks amazing!

I used to talk good about amazing Blade's. I always paid for the full season. This last yr they tried to get me for 2 more additional treatments costing 180 a piece. My yard has looked like crap for the last few yrs. They never get rid of the mole crickets. U call them and they have to come out and do they're stupid soap test, then if it's been more than a month, they charge u again. I built a 28 ×40 garage onto the house and they never would come down on the price. They are all about the money nothing more. I suggest u look around for someone else to do your lawn care. Oh when u tell them how bad your grass looks they come back at ya wanting 12 to14 hundred bucks for they're so called premium service, which is totally bs

I canceled my service after being pleased for 2 years. I even got complemented on how nice my lawn was and now they ask what happened. After Don was no longer doing my lawn it was all downhill from there. I called and spoke to the receptionist and ask to speak to the owner or the manager.She told me he would not call me back due the fact that the bad winter was the cause of all my weeds. We have been with Amazing Blades for 30 years! And obviously they are awesome! I can always call and get a response. This morning Will and his crew came early and layed some sod for us in anticipation of a wedding in our yard. Monday they’re coming to do mulch and pine straw all around our beds in our big yard. We love Amazing Blades!

Avoid this "landscaping" company at all costs!! They were good in 2023, however this season in 2024 they have been TERRIBLE! The lawn services have been beyond subpar, and they do not perform 1/2 of the services they are contracted for...out of the 5 or 6 times they were at my home since April they have only weed whacked twice and they never sprayed the gardens for weeds, yet our service contract has these listed for our bi-weekly service. They damaged nearly all of our downspouts by either running over them or walking on them, broke almost every downspout splash extension, ripped out one of our in-ground termite stations with their mower, ran over our concrete patio with the mower and chipped the patio, killed 2 plants by running them over with the mower, and killing the grass on one side of our house by cutting it too short. We communicated these issues to them, but they seem to get ignored. The final straw that made us termite services with them was them was the patio concrete getting chipped from their mower and then their landscaper being caught on video (more than once) peering in our windows. We notified Amazing Blades of these issues and our reasons for immediate service termination and didn't even get an apology from them for any it. They have damaged our property several times, haven't provided the services we were contracted for, and have ignored multiple emails sent to them disputing service charges. We offered to pay for 1 of the 3 most recent services, even though they didn't provide the full contracted services and then damaged our property again, but they never responded and instead continually email bills over for $162.00. They won't respond after we've contacted them atleast 6 times. We filled a BBB complaint against Amazing Blades, but they never responded to the BBB so the BBB complaint was closed noting "company was unresponsive". I'm not sure what happened with this company from 2023 to now, but they've drastically gone downhill. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I hired Amazing Blades to install centipede sod along one side of my house and a small section on the other side. When the crew came to install the sod, I had no notification that they were starting the work (not a big deal) and they did not let me know when they were completed (kind of a big deal - I wanted to check that they performed the work according to the agreement). When I finally realized the crew left, I checked and they did not do the installation per the agreement - the sod was laid in a straight path and did not reach the landscape stone in the beds along most of my house. In the areas where the sod did reach the stone, the sod was not cut and was draped over the stone. The worst part was the condition of the sod - it looked like it was from the bottom of a pallet with so much soil on top of the grass, mud puddles formed when I watered it. In addition, the sod was laid over my sprinkler heads and I had to cut the sod so the heads were able to rise up. After contacting the company and explaining my dissatisfaction, the rep said they would send a crew out to fix the issues. Yesterday, the crew came and I showed them where additional sod needed to be laid and where other issues needed to be addressed. I never write bad reviews, but I feel fully justified when you look at the photos of the end result. There is now a clear difference between the sod that was laid initially and then after the fix. The original sod laid still has soil/mud caked on top, even after all the rain this week. I realize this was not a large job for this company, but every job and every customer should be treated as if it were. An extremely dissatisfied customer.

We have been using Amazing Blades for our lawn maintenance since May. This week we had them come out and do a sod installation and a clean out of the area behind our back fence that was getting overgrown as well as trim the palms. Noah and Ashley did a great job on the cleanout and palms and Will, and his crew made our lawn look beautiful again. We were very pleased with all the work.
