Alpine Fence and Deck did an excellent job with composite fence installation. Beautiful work. Chandler was friendly, honest, and easy to work with—someone you feel comfortable trusting right away. Highly recommend.

I initially called Alpine Fence and Deck for an estimate to repair a section of a wooden panel of my fence that had blown out in a windstorm. Josh came out and gave me a very affordable estimate for repairing it. While here, I also asked if he could help me with the long back fence of my yard, which had peeling paint, was leaning badly, and needed some boards and posts replaced. Josh was able to power wash the entire fence to remove the peeling paint, replaced some of the rotting boards and posts, and then stain the entire fence a new color, thus extending the life of the fence. Brand new fences can be very expensive. The cost to do all the repair work was much less than the expense of a new fence. If you are looking to extend the life of your fence, I recommend you give them a call!

I hired Alpine Fence & Deck last month to perform a full recondition of my two redwood decks here behind my home in Sandy. The former owner of Alpine Fence & Deck had just apparently sold the business to the new owner, Chandler, and they kept the price fixed from their August 2022 quote. This was for the usual inspection, pressure washing, sanding, rotten wood replacement, correction & reinforcement of loose wood and railing, a final sanding, and then full staining (using Sherwin-Williams "SuperDeck" semi-transparent deck stain) of the top surfaces AND all underside surfaces (which had never been stained before.) I wanted the underside done this time to properly seal off all the wood surfaces, and yes it cost me more money, but I'll never have to futz with it again. My wife and I picked a rich dark charcoal color instead of the usual redwood color. This dark color uses blue, magenta, and deep gold tints to get this darker hue which - after it was applied - we were very happy with. Alpine Fence & Deck provided all of the stain as part of the quote...and left us with a full unopened gallon for our use. Chandler and his assistant Eliza spent a number of days working the deck in the cooler temps of June and overall we are happy with the effort. Chandler asked me multiple times to check his work and bring to his attention anything he missed or I wanted to be changed. Chandler fixed multiple floorboards and the one wobbly railing, and it all turned out OK. I think the extra effort on the underside paid off but was additional labor that kinda' beat up Chandler and Eliza as no doubt it was exhausting work. Suffice it to say the underside should have been sprayed instead of rolled/brushed as there are visible gaps in the stain that I will ask Chandler to address once this post goes live here on Yelp and Google. I would recommend Alpine Fence and Deck and always suggest that the consumer get everything in writing (like I did with Chandler's electronic quotes) and confirm that Chandler and his team will revisit us next spring and perform some post-winter touch-ups at no cost to us. Four Stars for a good job overall. Thanks!

They did a fantastic job! Our very old fence looks stunning and new. I’m docking one star because a good number of our plants that are close to the fence, and even some further away (because of drift) died or were damaged after they came. I wish more care have been taken to protect them—there was none. But overall we’re still happy!

Chandler and his team did a great job. They came when they said they would and finished quickly without sacrificing quality of work. I will use them next time my deck needs to be refinished. Very happy with them!

Chandler was great to work with. He communicated regularly to schedule the power wash and staining, working around the rainy days we had in May. Chandler and Jordan worked with us to get the right stain and color and were committed to get it right, trying 4 different stains until we found the best one. We definitely will call them the next time we need a project done.

I initially contacted Chandler and his crew to fix a broken gate on my 28 year old fence. They replaced the gate with a new one, repaired a couple of some rotting posts, and did a complete staining. Fence now looks like new and is good for many more years. Very professional and wonderful to work with. Worked late into the evening to finish the job as they were really busy with other projects. Even came back at no additional charge to do some touchup on the stain. I highly recommend Alpine Fence and Deck.

These guys gave a bid and started our deck repair work about 2 weeks later. From start to finish was about a month which was faster than we expected. They replaced old boards and repainted to match old color. We are happy with the results and it was much more affordable than replacing the entire deck especially since our deck still has decent structure and good for another 5-10 years. Would use them again for fence or deck repair.

Alpine came to prepare and stain part of our fence. They went above & beyond to prepare/clean the fence & asked me to check it over to see if I thought any part needed sanding. The fence looks fantastic. Very thorough, efficient and kind. Highly recommend!

These guys are very busy and so I understand it took them a while to come out. The first time they were scheduled to give me a bid, they were a no show with no phone call. Because I was having a hard time finding anyone else to do a small fix to some decking, I followed up and got them to come out again. After another week or so, I got an email saying the job would be around $390.00. Then, just the day before they were scheduled to come out, I got a formal bid for $465.00 with no explanation of why the number changed. After some consideration, I decided to approve the new price and the guy came out the next day. After about 4 hours, he knocked on my door and said the method they had approved was not the best way to solve the issue because it could be repaired much more simply by just using some spacers. I said, that's fine, and to let me know what the cost would be. After another two hours or so with no call from the company--which I was told was coming--the worker told me the price would be the same as the more complex fix. At every turn, these guys have been slow and disorganized on the occasions they even answered their phones. If you have a large job and are not in a hurry, they might do good work--who knows? But for me, I'll look for someone else.
