I had been feeling discouraged, but a friend recommended Alpine Dental in Montgomery Village, and the experience completely restored my confidence. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly and treated with genuine care. The staff took the time to listen to my concerns and quickly secured an appointment for me. Within 30 to 40 minutes, I was called in and received exceptional, professional dental care. The team was patient, attentive, and made sure I felt heard throughout the process. I would confidently recommend Alpine Dental to family, friends, and anyone seeking quality dental care.

Doctors like Dr. Ajmal Khan remind us what true care looks like. My mom had a sudden dental emergency, no insurance in Maryland, and I had no clue where to turn. A friend mentioned Dr. Ajmal, and I’m so grateful I followed that instinct. Not only did he treat my mom with such empathy and professionalism, but he also didn’t charge us a penny—knowing her insurance wouldn’t cover it. He even adjusted her old denture to match a new pattern, going above and beyond. The entire team at Alpine Dental treated us with such kindness and respect. They truly understood our situation—not just medically, but culturally too. I was told to find someone in Virginia, but honestly, care like this deserves recognition. Thank you, Dr. Ajmal and team—you’ve left a lasting mark on our hearts.

The dentists are great but the billing person not so much. I was told over the phone price range for a filling is from $175 to $250. They charged me $450 for dental work that took little time as it was a replacement of a filling that fell off.

The location was very convenient for me, just a 4-minute drive and they take their time with the cleaning. However, the seats in the exam room are a bit old; they should upgrade their equipment. I had two unpleasant experiences: first, when my sealant from the endodontics fell off after a root canal. I couldn’t get an emergency appointment with any dentist because Dr. Lipps was going on vacation. I had to wait almost three weeks for my appointment and during that time, I had to eat on only one side of my mouth. The second unpleasant experience was when they were one hour behind schedule. It took ages to get a temporary crown and I ended up being late to pick up my child from school. Dr. Lipps is a great dentist but the place needs better management. Some of the staff are rude and provide misinformation.

Alpine Dental is outstanding and has my highest recommendation. They are without a doubt the best dental team I’ve encountered, who prioritize doing right by their patients above all else. They are focused on practicing good medicine, not running a business, which makes all the difference for the patient experience. They also will go above and beyond to take care of people. I don’t normally give reviews, but I am making an exception after my recent experiences at Alpine Dental.

Alpine Dental did an Amazing job with my dental implants. Doctor Khan explained every detail of the surgery and completed the highly skilled Surgical procedures with precision and care. The technical staff, along with the office support personnel perform their duties as true professionals. From the initial exam to the preparatory appointments, Doctor Khan demonstrated his exceptional Process with ease. Step by step, I felt secure and confident about the outcome that was to come. I still have some aftercare follow up and look forward to Alpine Dental wrapping up the Great work they've done.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism at Alpine Dental in the Gaithersburg office. I scheduled an urgent appointment to address a broken tooth and received confirmation of the time. However, when I arrived, I was told the appointment was earlier I showed the confirmed voicemail confirming the time but they refused to take me in. This mistake caused significant inconvenience and unnecessary stress, especially given the urgency of my situation. I expected a higher level of organization and accountability from a healthcare provider. I understand mistakes happen, but this type of error reflects poorly on the practice's ability to prioritize patient care. I hope the office improves its scheduling and communication processes to prevent this from happening to others in the future.

Dr. Narmeen Minhas is the best dentist I have seen. I tried several dentists before, and they all did damages to my teeth. Dr Minhas fixed all the issues that other dentists did. I highly recommend her.

Firstly I want to say that the staff was nothing less than friendly and I appreciated that. The issue I had is that when I went in with a bad toothache and got my X-rays and consultation they stated that I needed a root canal. They were going to do it that day but thank god I decided to think on it and come back. I go back around 5 days later to get my root canal just for the dentist to tell me that the tooth is very infected and no longer salvageable. Therefore, if I didn’t wait they would have given me a root canal to a tooth that couldn’t have been saved. So then we move forward with the extraction since the tooth can’t be saved. The infection was very bad and my roots were so deep. Instead of recommending that I have the option to see an oral surgeon prior to working on my extraction for over an hour, they wait to ask me if I wanted to see an oral surgeon after the tooth was removed and me having so much pain even with the anesthetics when they kept digging in to get the roots. So I then end up leaving with a non finished extraction and have to wait almost two weeks to see an oral surgeon. I think the staff is great, but I was very disappointed on how non informative they were and how they rushed things to the point that they didn’t even give me the proper diagnosis the first time. The process has been dragging out way too long for this procedure. It could have been quicker with proper diagnosis and giving me all of my options prior to any procedure.
