From start to finish, David demonstrated exceptional knowledge and professionalism. He explained everything in a way that was both technically accurate from an engineering/code perspective and easy to understand from a practical standpoint. His thoroughness was impressive — he carefully inspected the property, identified all areas of safety concern, and took the time to ensure we understood the significance of each issue. Not only did he spot potential problems that might have been overlooked by others, but he also provided a clear and fair estimate for the necessary work. The crew did a great job on my brace and bolt seismic retrofit. Also helpful in dealing with a recent moisture issue in the crawlspace. Brad is a great guy!

The team was excellent from Aaron, senior assessor to Armando, the site supervisor. Chris the project supervisor was communicative as well. The team was timely, clean and professional. They were transparent about the process and kept us apprised of the progress. They shepherded the whole process (site assessment, plans, city permit, etc). They gave themselves 20 working days and completed the foundation work and cripple wall construction in 11 working days. Very pleased with the job as was very much needed. The city inspector signed of on the work today. Suggest you use them to for your housing needs

I was concerned for some foundations issues. Talin G. came out she was very nice, and thorough. She spent plenty of time answering my questions and concerns. Very pleased.

Be Cautious with Alpha ins– Misleading Staff and Unprofessional Conduct I requested a licensed contractor from Alpha to evaluate and potentially repair a balcony on my property. Instead, they sent someone named Albert, who turned out to be only a CAD designer with no contractor’s license. When I questioned his qualifications, he falsely claimed to be licensed contractor . After the visit, I verified on the CSLB (Contractors State License Board) and confirmed he was NOT licensed. His knowledge about joists and structural components was clearly lacking. It was evident he wasn’t qualified to assess or lead such a project. Despite multiple calls to their office asking to speak with management or the owner, no one responded. I’m extremely relieved I caught these red flags before committing to the project. Trust and proper credentials are crucial in construction—Alpha failed on both. Most of their reviews are by owner.

This company is the best of the best. I wouldn't trust anyone else with hillside drainage engineering and repairs. The team, especially Chris Olson, were a pleasure to work with. Great communication, in-depth planning and simply kind. I even had to postpone a major project due to a family medical emergency, and they were patient and understanding. They are the gold standard. If you care about your home, they are the ones to help you take care of it.

What used to be an area of bare dirt has transformed into a vibrant, multi-tiered garden featuring meandering trails. Shai took our ambiguous desire for something "easy to care for yet engaging" and managed to deliver precisely that. I can't envision this change occurring without his insight.
