Car Aid - Southfield

Great service, love these guys. Been getting my cars serviced here for a few years now, recommended by a family member. They don’t overcharge, prices are reasonable. Only negative is I get my car back with a dirty steering wheel and gear shift every time. My hands end up looking like I worked on it myself after pick up lol.

Owner is ethical and experienced. They do great work. Straight forward, no bs. Can't think how a shop could be any better, unless the gave away free Philly cheese steak sandwiches with fresh grilled peppers. That would be an awesome! Despite the lack of free hot sandwiches, I totally recommend this shop and will continue going back.

Car-Aid did an incredible job on my car, and what stood out most was that they didn’t overcharge me the way many mechanics do. Zo (sp?) was especially helpful. He explained exactly what my car needed without any pressure or scare tactics. He even prioritized the services for me upon my request so I could plan and budget, and bring my car back when it worked for me. Because of this level of honesty and care, Car-Aid will be my go-to shop moving forward. As long as my experience stays this consistent, they’ve earned a customer for life.

My Mechanics disappeared off the face of the planet and I pull up and see these guys in their place. Of course i'm skeptical at first but Zo has provided me with exceptional service and recommendations for my vehicle helping revive her from the brink that I didn't know she was at, if you knew Tony and liked his work I can see this gentleman being of similar quality and excellence. He's not going to yank you around, he's going to get you where you need to be.

There was a squealing sound coming from the front of my car. The last car shop didn't know what it was and claimed it to be transmission problems. The Car Aid mechanic spent a few moments with my car and knew right away. The squealing is gone and my car drives smoothly. Thank you. I have recommended you to others.

Needed a quick pre-purchase inspection. Very accommodating and thorough inspection with a detailed written report. I was in a position where I had to wait at the facility for an hour and a half and was able to observe a very skilled and knowledgeable team and saw many pleased customers come and go!
