Aloonak

We had a decent experience at Aloonak, but there is definitely room for improvement. The food was okay—the Persian sandwiches and pizzas were interesting and the portions were generous—but the flavors could be a bit more refined to really make it stand out. The biggest downside was that the service was slow. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for our order, which took away from the overall experience. Despite the slow pace, it’s a nice enough spot if you aren't in a rush and are looking for something different in the Ryde area. A solid 4-star experience, though a bit more speed and a flavor boost would make it even better!

I’ve been here a few times now, and the food quality has been consistently very good. I’ve tried a wide range of their menu and, while I have my favourites, most of their sandwiches and pizzas are delicious. When it comes to Persian-style pizzas and sandwiches, they’re definitely above the competition based on my experience.

We tried Aloonak and absolutely loved it. We ordered the roast beef pizza and a Zabon sandwich, and both were delicious. Everything tasted very fresh and full of traditional Persian flavors. The pizza had a generous amount of toppings, amazing taste, and a perfectly crispy top. You can really tell they don’t hold back on ingredients. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Really great Persian fast food with generous portions and fresh ingredients. Their Persian-style pizzas are especially delicious and full of flavour. Zahra is also very friendly and caring, and her great service makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Great food and excellent service! We arrived close to closing time and the staff were kind enough to stay back and serve us without any rush. Really appreciated their hospitality. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

The pizza had the worst quality—too oily, with only a bit of cheese. The cheese was hard, and it was difficult to chew. It was completely different from what I experienced two years ago. We just wasted our money!

I had a wonderful experience at Alonak Restaurant in Ryde. The owners, David and Zara, are truly kind and honorable people who care deeply about their customers and their food. You can feel their warmth and hospitality the moment you walk in. The quality of the food keeps getting better every time I visit. Everything is fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. The service is also excellent — friendly, welcoming, and professional. Had a great experience at this pizza joint! The staff were super friendly, and the portion sizes were generous. The quality of the food was excellent. The taste of the Supreme Pizza was spot on – I can’t recommend it enough. My favorite, though, was the Maghz and Zaban sandwich. We’ll definitely be back!
