We had a decent experience at Aloonak, but there is definitely room for improvement. The food was okay—the Persian sandwiches and pizzas were interesting and the portions were generous—but the flavors could be a bit more refined to really make it stand out.
The biggest downside was that the service was slow. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for our order, which took away from the overall experience. Despite the slow pace, it’s a nice enough spot if you aren't in a rush and are looking for something different in the Ryde area. A solid 4-star experience, though a bit more speed and a flavor boost would make it even better!

I’ve been here a few times now, and the food quality has been consistently very good. I’ve tried a wide range of their menu and, while I have my favourites, most of their sandwiches and pizzas are delicious.
When it comes to Persian-style pizzas and sandwiches, they’re definitely above the competition based on my experience.
