I was attempting to recover from both recent spinal and elbow surgeries. I have a stationary bicycle in my living room. It's a great place to stack books.
I truly needed the help of actual professionals if I was to get back to my dream job. My office is at 30,000ft up in the Friendly Skies.
I went through a few PT places, but they were either run down, or converted to a laundromat. Then I was blessed to discover All Pro Rehab! Even just the name tells you what you'll find!
You're greeted by Dr Rob with the warmest smile! He sincerely wants to help you get back to...You! He'll discuss with you what your set back is, and what your goal is, and make an action plan. Some of it is independent - once you get the hang of it, and some is with caring guidance!
The office itself is state of the art! As you're doing your warm ups they'll count along with you, or set a timer for you. Even if you've progressed to do some things on your own, they are still with you, gently correcting any minor repositioning.
In my time there, I saw Dr Rob (an athlete himself) genuinely welcoming and working evenly with the full spectrum of patients/clients - stroke victims, athletes, amputees, children, adults, the aged.
From taking an unsteady step to flat out running miles on the treadmill, from balancing on a half ball to working your way up through the fine set of weights, the work and the rewards are here waiting for you, with the help and guidance of a sincerely caring and knowledgeable staff.
And the motivating music is pretty good too!
