Motek Will Be Your New Favorite Mediterranean Spot!
I finally got around to trying Motek in Boca Raton—and I’m already planning my next visit. If you haven’t heard of it, Motek is a Mediterranean spot that first made waves in Miami’s Aventura Mall. Their Boca location just opened on Restaurant Row near Town Center, and it’s seriously worth the hype!
The space is modern yet cozy, with big windows, warm yellow tones, and a patio perfect for a laid-back lunch or wine-filled dinner. Whether you dress up for date night or keep it casual, Motek fits the mood.
Now, the food. Everything I tried was bursting with fresh, homemade flavor. I had the Arayes Burger—spiced kufta stuffed into a crispy pita with tahini and harissa aioli—already an award-winner for good reason. The hummus and “Mushroom Dip” were surprises, paired with warm, pillowy bread straight from the oven. Boca’s Motek also has exclusive menu items like the smoky pastrami oven pita—unlike anything I’ve tasted before.
What stands out is Motek’s story. It’s a family-run spot inspired by Israeli, Lebanese, Moroccan, and Yemenite roots. The food is kosher-style—not certified kosher—but every dish feels elevated yet comforting, homemade, and full of heart.
