I visited Dr Prakash Promod this afternoon, on the recommendation of my son-in-law , as I required an extraction due to a tooth infection and my regular dentist could not undertake this procedure. I am a very nervous and anxious patient and shook in my boots when, following the consultation ,I was offered treatment immediately. Dr Prakash gave me a moment to think about it and after a cup of tea and a chat with a lovely receptionist I went through with the extraction there and then. Dr Prakash was so kind, calm and quick and nurse Hannah was reassuring and attentive. I didn't feel any pain, I had a choice of music and it was a stress free experience and environment. I highly recommend this practice, especially if you are nervous and my faith in dentists has been restored. All the staff at Alban City Dentist treated me with compassion, were efficient and professional. Dr Prakash is clearly an exceptional dental surgeon. Thank you for today.

This Dental practice was fantastic. I went for a tooth extraction after it failed at a previous practice. Dr Prakash Promond was fabulous and very patient with me. He removed the tooth in just a few minutes. Nurse Simona was brilliant. We had a lovely chat before the extraction and she made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Rachael on reception was just as brilliant, she worked her magic and got me in the very next day after I called. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially nervous or anxious people. The surgery itself is very welcoming and calming.

I have suffered from gum infections for 30 years and needed a full mouth implant surgery for a long time, however I was too afraid to commit myself. I had several consultations with different practices but didn't feel assured about the process and more importantly the aftercare. Beginning of 2025, I had reached a point where it was now or never, I personally felt I had left it too late and no one would take on my case. I was introduced to Alban City Dental & Surgical Centre and when I attended the consultation I was treated with such care and sensitivity and naturally felt assured. I said to Dr Prakash, please go ahead and do whatever you need to and put my trust in him whole heartedly. He put a plan together and subsequently I had the surgery and went home at the end of the day with fully functional temporary teeth that looked very natural, after a total of 7 months, just had the finals fitted and I couldn't be happier with the treatment and the results, absolutely fantastic. I forgot to mention, I have been a diabetic for many years which makes things even more difficult but Dr Prakash said; " what ever problems we come across we will find a solution", so reassuring, my only task is to keep the diabetes under control. I would like to thank Dr Prakash and all his team including reception staff (Rachael) who made me feel so special every time I visited, I felt like one of the team and not a patient. No amount of words can ever express how I feel or to be able to thank everyone at the practice, for a second lease of life. Thank You! I also, want to thank the lady (Iga) who made the prosthesis with such intricate detail and willingness to make any changes if I wasn't happy with any detail at all, no request was too much. Stepping into Alban City Dental and Surgical Centre felt like stepping into a light and airy place with music playing softly with rhythms that felt soothing and happy. The place was immaculately clean and tidy, complemented perfectly by the decor. The staff at reception were welcoming and friendly, and made me feel comfortable and at home. My treatments by Dr Prakash and Dr Ali and Dr Giri was most excellent and of an exceptional professional standard. The range of treatments offered in the Alban City Dental is quite extensive while every effort was made to tailor the treatment appropriate for me with practiced professional ease. I’m not surprised that their excellence has garnered recognition in awards by the dozen from professional bodies in the last few years. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Alban City Dental to anyone who wants excellent dental care.

I recently went through one of the most difficult experiences of my life after a serious accident left me without my four front teeth and caused significant damage and displacement to my lower teeth. I felt devastated and genuinely unsure if I would ever smile confidently again. From the very first appointment, Dr Prakash and Dr Sarah showed not only incredible professionalism, but genuine care, patience, and compassion. They guided me through every stage of the long treatment process, always making sure I felt reassured, informed, and supported. After a year of treatment, I can honestly say they have given me more than just my teeth back. They have restored my confidence, my smile, and a part of myself that I thought I had lost. The result is beyond anything I could have hoped for. My smile looks natural, healthy, and better than it ever was, and I can’t put into words how grateful I am. To anyone looking for a dentist who truly goes above and beyond both in skill and in kindness, I cannot recommend both of them highly enough. They changed my life, and I will forever be grateful.

A fabulous dental centre. My husband,86, needed to have 4 difficult teeth extracted. DR. Prakash Promod was not only hugely competent, but also very kind, not often the case. The dental nurse was lovely and again, very kind and the ladies at the reception equally so. A practice very well run. Astonishingly there has been no pain so far and no bleeding. We are both very impressed by the whole experience and very grateful to all the staff Thank you.

Fabulous service, lovely staff. Got 2 wisdom teeth removed so far, if the other two need to come out I will be getting it done here. Every member of staff from reception to surgeon was so welcoming and friendly. Dr Prakash and Ana were really good and efficient operation on me this morning!

Brilliant staff with a lovely atmosphere, I felt very welcome and you can tell they are all brilliant at their jobs! 11/10 i will recommend them to anyone who's looking for a good dental practice :)

This place possibly saved my life by suggesting an immediate extraction picking up a major sinus infection that had been missed by two previous dentists. They score highly because they look at health and not just teeth drawing on their hospital experience. Plus the extraction was so fast I literally didn't notice it happening and I got a lift back to the station (but don't expect this unless you're properly ill).

Saw Dr Patel today. Sadly I had to do a pretty urgent RCT. As always Mr Patel has been amazing. Extremely thorough, checked everything that could be checked, and explained everything, step by step. Highly recommended.
