Raccoon in the crawl space repairs. The other day I received a phone call from a distraught homeowner about a raccoon in the crawl space. Aside from the damage it could cause in their house they were also concerned about the harm it could inflict upon their pet dogs. We removed the raccoon asap and completed repairs today to prevent this from happening again. This crawl space access panel was framed with treated 2x4s, glued, screwed, painted, and added a perforated vent to allow for proper air circulation under the house. No more raccoons getting in this house!
