Another repair completed today on a Lennox air conditioning system here in Dallas, TX.
The homeowner was experiencing poor cooling and inconsistent temperatures throughout the home. After performing a full system diagnosis, we found the issue was a faulty thermostatic expansion valve (TXV).
The expansion valve is a critical component in your AC system because it controls the amount of refrigerant flowing into the evaporator coil, which directly affects cooling performance and system efficiency.
