Today in Rockwall, TX, we responded to a service call for an A/C unit that wouldn’t kick on. After a quick diagnosis, we found a burnt compressor contactor — the part responsible for sending power to the compressor and fan motor.
Years of wear, dirt buildup, and electrical arcing had taken their toll. The contacts were completely burned out, cutting off the power needed to run the system. 🔥
