Traveling through Afghanistan with Afghanistan On Tour was truly an unforgettable experience.
From the moment I reached out, Fayaz was amazing—super responsive, patient, and always willing to answer my (many!) questions as I planned a 12-day trip. He made the whole process—visas, logistics, everything—smooth and stress-free, which really helped me feel confident about going.
Once we landed, we were welcomed by our guide Farzad Ahmad, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Right away, we felt comfortable with him. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely kind and warm-hearted. He added so much to the trip just by being himself.
The itinerary was really well thought-out—each day brought something new and incredible. We started in Kabul, then headed to the gorgeous Bamyan region and on to the stunning Band-e-Amir National Park (The Blue Lake), which ended up being one of the absolute highlights for me.
Even though I thought 12 days would be enough, the time just flew by. I left wishing I had more time to explore and soak in the incredible culture, scenery, and hospitality of the Afghan people.

I recently completed an unforgettable 7-day tour across Afghanistan with Afghanistan on Tour, and the experience exceeded all my expectations.
Our journey took us from Kabul to Bamyan, the breathtaking Band-e Amir National Park, then to Mazar-i-Sharif before returning to Kabul. Every destination was incredible, offering a unique glimpse into Afghanistan’s history, culture, and natural beauty.
A huge thank you to Fayas for organizing everything so smoothly from start to finish. The trip was perfectly managed, and we always felt well taken care of. Special appreciation as well to our fantastic guides, Saud and Faizan, who were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience even more meaningful.
