Affordable Heating & AC LLC

My water heater burst and flooded my basement , flooding the furnace. Affordable quickly came out and provided an estimate. It was an emergency and they came first so I went with it. Since this was an Insurance claim, instead of paying for it outright, they convinced me to go with their loan vendor, since the Insurance could take a while before it pays out and it was 0% apr. I accepted and had the work done. There is no issue with the work and the Tec was more than helpful. However when I received the Invoice it was blank. The insurance company would not accept a blank invoice. I made multiple attempts to get Affordable to give me an itemized invoice and they ignored all calls and emails before finally responding that they don't do itemized invoices and to sue the Insurance Provider. The insurance did not/has not covered the damage. The cynical side of me thinks it might be because if they itemized the invoice, I would notice that the equipment was 3K and the Labor was 6k for 6 hours of work. Either way why not help me get it covered under insurance with 10 minutes of admin work? Affordable left me in the mud and could not care less.

Our furnace unexpectedly stopped working, so I reached out to several HVAC companies for help. Affordable Heating and A/C responded quickly, and two of their technicians—both named Devin—came out that same day. Unfortunately, the furnace needed to be replaced, but with cold weather approaching, they were able to expedite the installation and had a new furnace in place within less than two days. Both technicians were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, completing the removal of the old unit and installation of the new one in just a few hours. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of their work, and we highly recommend Affordable Heating and A/C for any HVAC needs. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Had the pleasure of meeting Jason from Affordable today who came out to look at our boiler. He was professional, thorough and explained everything as he went over before and after photos of his work. I appreciated his honesty and candor and felt he had our best interests in mind (never tried to upsell us on a new system and discussed that our system was safe while educating us on what to look for in the future as our system ages) Highly recommend!!! I absolutely love working with people who are great at their craft. Affordable Heating and AC is exactly that. From start to finish, they demonstrated true mastery of what they do. There were no games, no upselling, no confusion. Just a huge command of what needed to happen and exactly how to handle my complex system with six heating zones in a 3600 square foot house. My 20 plus year old boiler needed replacing. They walked me through what I could do to keep it running temporarily without wasting money, then helped me make the right long term fix that would not send good money after bad. Their pricing was competitive with other companies but their clarity, professionalism, and service were on a totally different level. The quality of their work speaks for itself. While I stepped out of the room to grab payment, I even overheard their lead praising his team on how good the install looked. That says everything to me. They take pride in doing things well. I already have plans to work with them again this year to install a mini split. Their pricing for that is also competitive and they knew exactly what would work best for my home. Stop looking around and hire them. They are amazing. UPDATE - I retuned and had a mini split installed in my game room by Affordable HVAC and couldn’t be happier with the experience. My setup wasn’t straightforward at all due to some tricky roof lines, but their team handled it like pros. They were thoughtful, creative problem solvers and clearly took pride in figuring out the best way to make everything work cleanly and efficiently. The installation itself looks great, and everything is working perfectly. On top of that, the team was professional, easy to work with, and communicated clearly throughout the process. I’d absolutely recommend Affordable HVAC to anyone looking for quality work, especially if you have a more complicated setup.

I had a great experience from start to finish. Rob scheduled me quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated. Zach, the lead technician, was amazing! he not only solved the issue with my central air system, but also took the time to patiently explain everything that was going on. We have been very pleased with the service we received from Affordable Heating in Pembroke. They replaced our furnace in our last home in Pembroke and we have recently had to call them for service in our new home in Whitman on separate occasions due to no heat, then no hot water. Rob is very responsive and gets someone out to you ASAP! Devin was the service technician sent and he is exceptional (both in his skill level and professionalism)!
