Need to get to the airport and looking for a means of transportation? Well, public transit is out of the question. With the long, long ride, limited space for luggage, and connections you have to make, it’s just too much hassle. Even more so if you are traveling as a group of family or friends.
Share a ride then? Uber or a metered city taxi come to mind, but hey, those are not necessarily your best options either. Being paid by the minute and distance traveled, those services are not too strongly incentivised to take the shortest routs and may end up getting stuck in traffic.
A flat rate Toronto airport taxi is your only really good option. It is a service you know how much you pay for in advance. As such it is also more likely to try and take the shorter route instead of relying on a GPS, and as a specialized service, most likely to know ways around traffic that will get you to the airport quickly.
