Just like any industry, taxi services have a variety of competing firms providing what appears to be the same service. However, at a closer look, it will be observed that there may be vast differences between them. True, competition drives taxi companies to keep their rates low but they will differ. There’s a difference between a metered ride and a flat rate one.
And of course there’s reputation that reflects a company’s dedication, quality of service, and the comfort of their vehicles. For this, Yelp reviews and Google Feedback can be an extremely useful source of information.
Look for a company’s list of services, vehicles and credentials to ascertain that you are getting what you pay for. And last but not least, it’s better to choose convenience. And in this industry, convenience means having an online booking engine and better still, a phone app. Both of which we have of course!
