This week has been huge for Aerial Ashes Ltd as the CAA awarded us an Operational Authorisation to operate in the Specific Category.
Aerial Ashes have been scattering cremation remains by drone since early last year when ‘release of articles’ was allowed for any operator with a valid Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO)
For those of you up to date with drone laws, the changes in the 2020 Amendment meant that ‘release of articles’ would no longer allowed; so, for Aerial Ashes Ltd to continue trading seamlessly from renewal we needed to gain a new clearance which had to be through submitting a full Operating Safety Case to the CAA. This has been an enormous amount of work and I’m really pleased that our M600 Pro ash-drones and Mavic 2 Pro videography drones can continue to work side-by-side to deliver our unique service.
