WINDOWS 7 END OF LIFE
It's curtain call for Windows 7. The decades-old OS will be taking its final bow on January 14, 2020. That's the date Microsoft says it will cease support of the coveted platform, as Windows 10 becomes the de facto standard. Microsoft will stop issuing security patches and updates, so anyone continuing to use Windows 7 post mid-January will be taking unnecessary security risks. Users with older computers may also find that Windows 10 licenses don't run well on outdated hardware platforms, so purchasing a new computer with Windows 10 pre-installed may be the best option, especially if you'd like it to run with optimal speed and performance into the future.
