Unfortunately, I was not able to see the Dr so my review is customer service based. I’m not sure what’s going on with front desk but when I got to my appointment I filled out paperwork and waited 21 minutes. I was told that they don’t accept my insurance. It would have been nice to know that when I called 2 weeks ago to schedule the appointment. I told them what type of insurance I have. They should automatically tell people what they don’t accept upfront or get the insurance information for a pre authorization before the appointment! not the day of. Also they did the same thing to a lady after her appointment who had already been seen by the Dr. and she had no choice but to pay out of pocket because they didn’t accept her insurance.

The best-5 stars!! After years of pain and frustration, I found Dr. Wrotslavsky. He is very professional and empathetic. He restored my walking ability by surgically replacing/repairing 5 ligaments in my ankle. I now have a whole new life of activities thanks to Dr. W.

I had a wonderful experience at this office. Dr. Phil is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. He went above and beyond by referring me to a vascular specialist after noticing a symptom in my leg vein related to the injury I came in for. I felt truly cared for throughout my visits. The front desk staff were just as impressive—welcoming, professional, and efficient. Shout-out to Zack! They made the check-in process smooth and were very helpful with scheduling and answering questions. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for compassionate, top-quality care

I recently came in to see Dr. Phil for a problem that I’ve been having with my ankles for the last two years. It was a running problem that got worse and worse from me just ignoring it and powering through. I had a great experience. I was able to make an appointment within a few days. I saw the doctor on time. And I felt like I was given exactly what I needed under no pressure. The doctor himself is also incredibly personable, and I found that his other patients adore him as well. I’ll be coming back if I have any problems at all. 10/10

My husband and I have been patients at advanced foot and ankle center of San Diego beginning my husband in 2017. Most recently my last follow up appointment, May 2024. We have been extremely pleased with Dr. Wrotslavsky beginning the 1st visit, the surgery and all follow up appointments. He listens and has a very positive disposition. Never a problem leaving messages or receiving timely call backs from Dr. or his staff. We are very grateful we had this exceptional Dr. taking care of us. We are both healthy and heeled with the best results!

Dr. Wrotslavsky and his team are nothing short of the best. It's no coincidence he was named one of America's, not just San Diego's or California's, top Podiatrists as seen in his office. He and his team were professional, personable, clear and helpful from start to finish. I wouldn't go anywhere else. 8 months after toe surgery I'm back to full strength being able to take advantage of all the activities I enjoy in SD.

Dr Wrotslavsky is the best of his profession that is available and possible to find. His skills and absolutely wonderful level of patient care combined with compassion are a definite 10. With my own situation, I have suffered for years with chronic and disabling foot pain which, now after surgery, is no longer an issue as it was previously. He is so attentive to detail and approaches medical problems with very individual care and recommendations for treatment. I highly recommend seeking his care. I am extremely happy with my outcome post-op even though I'm only about 10 weeks past surgery.

Great doctor. I came to Dr. Wrotslavsky after I had already seen two other doctors. I had received several cortisone injections that were not helping my problem, and nobody could pinpoint my issue. Dr. Wrotslavsky was the first doctor to dig deeper into my issue by requesting that I get an MRI. He found that it was a neuroma in my foot and removed it for me surgically. Seven months later and I am feeling great. He never pressured me into any treatment, and always encouraged me to get a second opinion and to think about it for as long as I liked. He also took the time to answer my many questions, and my appointments never felt rushed. It is such a relief to be pain free after almost three years of foot pain. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone experiencing foot or ankle issues

Dr Wrotslavsky operated on my foot one year ago and I am very happy with the results. I can walk again without pain. I was referred to him by another podiatrist that no longer performed surgery. Both my husband and I immediately felt comfortable with him as he explained the problems with my foot, went over the options and answered questions in lay person language. The surgery went great and much to my surprise and happiness I had very little pain afterwards. The worse part was not putting any weight on it for the first phase of recovery which can't be helped. The follow up treatment was excellent and the time frame for full healing was what Dr. Phil had prepared me for. Dr. Phil took time with me, was caring and kind. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. W. In early 2023 for horrible pain in my right heel. A touch, an x-ray and a surgery date was scheduled. My Achilles tendon was wrapping around 2 bone spurs. He was and continues to be accessible, easy to question and understand on the procedure, recovery, progress and is so knowledgeable on every aspect of what to expect.
