There are many aspects of deformity correction surgery. 1 of the main rules that we follow in deformity correction is measured twice and cut once. It is of the utmost importance when 1 is deciding to have a deformity corrected particularly of the foot and ankle that all measurements are taken to properly assess the magnitude of the deformity. Here at the advanced foot and ankle Center of San Diego, we utilize the most advanced techniques to measure deformities and to plan for surgery with the proper bone cuts that would realign the foot ankle or leg into the appropriate position. We utilized computer software that is able to make sure that correction is done in an accurate way as possible. That is why as you can see in the above picture we utilized a computer program that enables us to get the most accurate correction possible within what the anatomy allows.
