Advanced Damp

Avoid, no stars. Had some damp-proofing works completed just over a year ago. We are now able to move forward with our dream kitchen and were surprised that two separate and independent trades have questioned the quality of the finished work. The plastering was smoothed over however we face unknowns on our flooring. Despite frequent follow ups, we have had no response on our queries other than an acknowledgment. We now face the risk of an expensive installation with no guarantee we will face future issues which require ripping it all out again. If used, would recommend a second opinion prior to and after works are done.

Brilliant team of damp proofers. Really polite and professional. The job was completed ahead of schedule and whilst being a very dusty job they kept everything clean and tidy.

It all started well: paid the invoice on 7 January 2026, Matt attended on 12 January 2026 as arranged (on time and very professional) and then the wheels came off. It is now the 18th of February and despite numerous requests we still don't have the report. What a pity!

Nearly three months later I am still waiting to hear from them as to when they are going to come out to fix the problem.

Currently standing in the room where there was penetrating damp from the gutters we had fixed - it’s spotless and the work has clearly been done well.

I would also like to mention the outstanding cleanliness & housekeeping performed by the Technician Matt, there was a lot of plaster to be removed from the landing, entrance, & living room, yet no dust or dirt was left at the end if the job.
