Maybe you do. A surprising amount of people don't.
And I think the reason for this is that people treat food as fuel. If that. We eat when hungry. And even that is grabbed, it's quick, it's easy. When we do eat, we do it while scrolling our phones, while watching TV, while replying to email and while darting from one meeting to the next.
But food is such a big part of who we are culturally, ancestrally, spiritually. Celebrations are often based around food.
So if there is one thing you can do today to change this, to nurture a relationship with food rather than treating it as a disposable commodity...
...choose one meal and simply eat. Put down your phone.
Sit. Savour each taste, each aroma. Be mindful and purposeful.
You'll notice the difference straight away. And then let me know what happened.
