I chose to follow my own advice and stick to the basics.
And that means:
🍲 3 meals per day
🥗 3 fruits or veggies per day
💧 3 bottles of water per day
It also means:
🚶♂️Move 3 times per week
🧘Do 3 things each week to nurture my soul
When chosing meals:
I made sure that my healthy choices were things I actually like to eat.
When chosing movement:
I made sure that the exercise styles I chose where things I actually liked to do.
Because nothing destroys consistency faster than doing something, or eating something, you hate.
Doing this slowly over time meant I could develop good habits and integrate lifestyle changes...
..because doing things too fast usually means reverting to old habits again...
...and putting the weight back on.
