I visited the office to have a document witnessed. Unfortunately, I encountered three individuals who presented the task as complex and legally intense, quoting a fee of £120. According to the law society's guidelines, document witnessing typically costs £5, so it was surprising to see such a substantial markup of £115. The atmosphere in the office gave off an impression of profit-driven individuals lacking professional integrity. I would advise steering clear of this practice if you're seeking genuine legal assistance.
