Dr. Amit Kumar has literally changed my life since starting sessions. I had an accident 2 years ago where I fractured my skull and had a subarachnoid haemorrhage. This has caused daily headaches and neck pain which has in turn affected me mentally. Dr Kumar is very professional puts you at ease with the acupuncture treatment. And is very knowledgable of all aspects of anatomy the sessions did give me pain relief from a trapped nerve in my neck. After suffering from lower back pain for many years, I heard about this treatment from a friend, I really felt that my lower back problem was getting me down and couldn't put up with it a day longer, I'd already tried acupuncture for a sports injury many years back that also helped me recover but this sounded different, after the first treatment I could feel it was better so booked another set of treatments, now five appointments later I'm completely pain free, can't believe I tried so many visits to a chiropractor without feeling any better, hence I'm so pleased with my outcome from AcuRelief. I went to see Mr Amit Kumar at AcuRelief with long standing neck and shoulder tightness and tinitus which led to anxiety and depression. He listened carefully and made it very easy for me to explain my problems. I found electro acupuncture challenging but I was in complete control of the level of discomfort from the electrodes. In addition to electro acupuncture Mr Kumar inserted Shen Men point into my ears which helped to relive anxiety. After 6 weeks my symptoms were significantly reduced. I feel very confident with this course of treatment. I am committed to following up this treatment fortnightly or as necessary in the future. I have sort a few avenues for these problems and this is the first treatment that has had a positive effect and I am encouraged.

I had been experiencing severe shoulder pain for several months when a friend recommended Dr Kumar's pain relief clinic to me. I was suffering from disrupted sleep and was very restricted in what I could do with the affected arm. Physiotherapy wasn't helping at all. I had six electro-acupuncture treatments with Dr Kumar over about nine weeks. Even after one treatment the pain was reduced, though it did return after a few days. But after six treatments the pain has more or less gone, I'm sleeping well and I've even started going to the gym, which had become impossible for me. I can't recommend Dr Kumar's clinic enough.

I had a very bad episode of Shingles (herpes zoster) with vesicles on my forehead right above my eyebrows as well as on my scalp. Even though I was on the prescribed medications (Aciclovir and Gabapentin) the pain resulting from the shingles was excruciating and continuous even after 4 days into the medication. At that point I took an appointment with Dr Amit Kumar for acupuncture pain relief. It was easy to get the appointment. As I entered his office, the environment was very pleasant and relaxing. He was extremely patient and took the time to asses my pain situation. He also made a note of all the medications I was on including my current health condition. He also provided me with a published medical article that was specific to the treatment of shingles (herpes zoster) using acupuncture. He explained the complete process of medical and electro acupuncture and then started the process. Insertion of needles I would say was quite bearable. I felt quite a bit of improvement after 24 hours of treatment. First and foremost, the excruciating and lightening pain I was experiencing reduced considerably which gave me quite a bit of relief. It also expedited the healing of vesicles. I am very happy with the outcome. Dr Amit Kumar is very Knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for pain relief.

Having suffered muscular and nerve pain down the left hand side of my back for more years than I care to remember, the electropuncture has been amazing.
