Thinking about an air source heat pump? A quick update on the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
You may have seen recent news suggesting the Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme could be reviewed in the budget on 26 November. Here is what we know right now:
-- BUS vouchers are still available and remain valid for 120 days once issued
-- Historically, schemes like this have honoured vouchers already issued
-- There has been no official announcement that the BUS will end, only speculation
-- All customers already booked with us are fully covered and we are securing their BUS vouchers before the budget date
What is not yet clear:
-- Whether the BUS will be reduced, paused or replaced
-- Whether new applications will be accepted after the announcement
-- How quickly any changes might take effect
Because of this, many homeowners are choosing to secure their £7,500 BUS grant now while it is still available. We are taking installation bookings from January onwards and can apply for your voucher under the current rules.
